Ohhhhh, God knows as a Christian woman I need to work on compassion. I need to care more about other people’s feelings, etc. but seriously? I’m not going to feel bad for making an obvious joke just because some chick is over-sensitive. You think I’m racist for saying that, even though I already twice denied it? Okiedokie, friend.

Totally stressing out.

I’ve got to memorize a grip of wines, beers, vodkas, well drinks, etc. to impress the District Manager of Black Angus on Wednesday to get a job as a waitress. I ain’t complaining! This is proof that God really pulls through for you. I came there hoping to just fill out an application, but I got an interview with two out of three of the managers needed to get a job.. all God.

Apparently, in order to impress the Head Honcho, Boss #2 gave me a cheat sheet of things to memorize because the DM is apparently a wine enthusiast—Black Angus prides itself on its steaks and wines.

I dedicate all of today and tomorrow to memorizing a bunch of alcoholic beverages. What irony. The church girl is going to learn about wines and beers. Sigh.

But this is such a blessing.. I’m going to save up money for Fall ‘11. Wherever I move, I need extra cash. One thing is for sure—tithing is going to be a regular habit. I’ve earned so much money and yet never gave it back to God. No-no.

Bedtime? I’ve been feeling a bit dry lately.. I miss my alone time with God, but I’ve been out and about with so many people. I find it hard to balance my time with God and people. :/

I don’t mind people wearing purple to commemorate the Gay kids who committed suicide. It’s sad, it really is. But with that said, please don’t talk smack about Christians. I hate it when people stop utilizing basic logical processes in favor of their over-hyped emotions. The fact is, some Christian people acted wrongly and bullied some gay kids. I don’t agree with what the “Christians” did, so don’t lump me in with them, because I do NOT agree with that type of treatment. A few Catholic priests molest the church boys. Does that mean all Catholic priests do that? No. I personally don’t agree with the belief system of Catholicism, but by no means will I venture to use a couple of faulty Priest-on-Boy incidents to be the pillar of my argument against Catholicism itself. A couple of black kids beat up a white boy on a bus. Does this mean all people who are black or African-American have an innate hostile or racist culture? No! And so some Christian people make fun of some gay kids which leads them to committing suicide. Does the ultimate stupidity and hate that they showcased signify the beliefs of actual Christianity and other loving Christians? NO! It is NOT LOGICAL to conclude that Christianity = Hate because of what a couple of dare I say it, stupid kids said. It gets me riled up when I take the heat for stupid people who claim something they are not, or that they don’t understand. And I just have to say, it’s sad that they killed themselves, but let’s leave it at that: they killed themselves. Even if Muslims made fun of them, no one is obligated to kill themselves and no one forces you to kill yourself. If a bunch of gay kids made fun of me for being Christian, so what? I get made fun of everyday for being who I am, and I don’t see anything posted on facebook or on FOX News. I think over-emphasis on Christian hate against gays is getting ridiculous. In every matter, there are two sides. Yet when I say this, I’m considered unloving? No, it’s called the truth. I’m not talking trash about anyone, I’m just looking at it from a logistic perspective. Let’s all use our brains when we assess issues. One, Christians shouldn’t be judged based on the stupidity of a few self-proclaiming “Christians”. Two, the Bible says to love your neighbor as yourself; to love your enemy, among other things. So anyone who says, “Hate is what Christianity is all about!” is obviously ignorant and emotions-driven, and three, suicide is suicide. It’s a sad event, it really is, and there is a propelling factor, but in the end, the kids decided to take it upon themselves to end their own lives. Everyone has been opressed at some point in their life. I guess I’m just a bit frustrated because so many Christians die out there, being persecuted for their faith by those who hate us, and you never hear about a day of honor for them here in America; a “Wear White” day for them, but a few kids kill themselves because they’re made fun of for being gay and all of a sudden it’s “Wear Purple” day? It’s fine, I get it. I’m not against it. I’m just saying, do your thing, but when people start talking, for me it’s like, don’t even start talking bad about Christianity or Christians because logically speaking, it just makes no sense whatsoever, and if you speak without logic, then there is no base in what you say, and as Charmaine says for fun: “Your argument is invalid!”
